Justin Vashisht This week at HP Discover in Barcelona I had the chance to finally check out that Calvin Zito wrote about a few months ago. Two other bloggers, Craig Kilborn (@vmfocus – vmfocus.com) and Bart Heungens (@BartHeungens – bitcon.be) joined me for a video with HP to go over some of the top features. I find it amazing on the amount of analytics and data that is able to be presented in such an easy to read dashboard. This is most valuable to the every day systems administrator that doesn’t have the time or the skill set to do a deep dive into the command line to perform a root cause analysis. We tested this theory by running IO meter to saturate one of the fiber links, and what would normally take an engineer hours to work through took us minutes.
